Therapy Conversationer.

In January 2021, Litha Labs released a closed-group pilot version of its Therapy Conversationer.

Our original research in psychology and psychometrics led to the development of a proprietary psychology engine.  This engine is the world’s first application of spatial cognition in a psychological context   This psychospatial engine helps to understand the undeclared needs, wants, and motivations of a person.

It is also able to identify the traits of anxiety, stress, and depression.

Available 24/7 through any smart device, Litha’s unique IP enables unscripted, evolving conversations built on psychology and linguistics.

The AI Therapist makes use of such therapy approaches curiosity, paraphrasing and reflection as well as linguistic tools including metaphors, and context.

The technology is also able to infer underlying psychology which forms the basis for psychology- based risk insights by simulating and forecasting future user behaviours.

The flow of this psychotherapy conversation is simple.

After logging in, you have the option to undertake a clinically recognised assessment (maximum 2 minutes in duration).

The first assessments that Litha have developed are for anxiety, stress, and mild-moderate depression.

At the start of each conversation, you can take the assessment – this helps you to track the improvement or degradation in your psychology.

This is reported back to you in your private insights dashboard.

The next stage is to start a therapy conversation.

This conversation is conducted through Clean Language – using solely questions to help you orient yourself in a psychological space.

Clean Language conversations work with symbols and metaphors, complemented by Litha’s understanding of neuro-symbolic imagery.  Rather than be guided / influenced by the therapist, the user introduces their own symbolic imagery.  As you will see in the conversation, you are asked about what image comes to mind.

For this sample, we have restricted the conversation to twelve questions for you to answer.

An adjunct to this conversation is a Journal allowing for the times when you just need to vent rather than speak to the therapist.  All of these conversations are unlimited.

At the end of the conversation, feedback is given and received.  The technology wants to learn and improve its skills in psychology and conversation.  At the same time, we want you to know how you are doing.

Each conversation is transcribed and stored in a secure Vault. Metadata is used to produce analytics for the Intelligence dashboard.

The technology uses such aspects as sentiment and emotions to inform Litha’s ground-breaking ‘Litha Memory’.  This memory connects not just explicit data but also the implicit – not just facts, but also feelings.

This personal therapist is always available, remembers people, remembers what they said, and learns from it.
